It was cold the first 2 days we were there so the gas fireplace and he heat fan in the bathroom were a plus! Very comfortable furniture, especially the bed, and a secluded location at the top of a hill looking down into the valley. The town of Elijay has some very cool bars and restaurants as well as Blue Ridge. We ate at The Falls at Blue Ridge which I would highly recommend for a fine dining experience. Roo Mountain Winery is a must visit vineyard nearby. Overall, it was a fantastic anniversary getaway!

Maria was an absolutely amazing host! From the start, she was incredibly kind and communicative, keeping us updated on weather conditions as we were heading into a winter snowstorm, which gave us so much peace of mind. Her instructions were clear, detailed, and made check-in a breeze. The home was spotless, cozy, and beautifully maintained. Our fur baby, Bubbles, loved the house just as much as we did! We were lucky enough to see baby deer on the property, which made the stay feel extra special. The fireplace and hot tub were hands-down our favorite parts and made the whole experience feel magical. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and are so grateful we found Maria’s home. Highly, highly recommend!
